Who are we?

Running the first bus to the 1988 Scottish Cup Final, the Angus Arabs were born.

Unfortunately the Hampden Hoodoo was still upon as we crashed to a late, late goal to Celtic.

The first bus to a league game was August 1988, and the club quickly gathered pace, picking up several dozen members each week from Montrose & Arbroath.

As a team, United were very slowly on decline from the heady heights of the UEFA Cup Final, but we still took very healthy numbers week in week out, sometimes two coaches.

Inviting our Carnoustie friends on board (late 90's) was a huge decision, one which has seen many great friendships, and many would say, actually saved the now named EAST Angus Arabs.

We have seen the highs (1994 Cup Final), the lows (relegation 1995), but there has always been a hardcore of Arabs, and I cannot recall a time when we have not taken a coach to a home league game.

Young and old travel with us, some travel every week, some are 'big game hunters' - but if you are an East Angus Arab, you are ALWAYS welcome.

Well respected within the walls of Tannadice, we are Committee members of the Dundee United Federation of Supporters Clubs, taking advantage of the subsidised coaches - worth your membership alone.

Always on the lookout for new members - if you are from Montrose, Arbroath or Carnoustie then give us a call, I guarantee you will LOVE it.
